Welcome to CEDUS
The Center for Entrepreneurship Düsseldorf (CEDUS) at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf is your contact for all questions related to self-employment and starting a business. We support students, graduates and researchers in developing business ideas and, in addition to our free startup advice, also offer numerous workshops and events on entrepreneurial skills and sustainable entrepreneurship. Our team of advisors helps you with the acquisition and application of funding and connects you with experts from different business sectors. Visit us to learn more and start your entrepreneurial journey!

- Advice and support in acquiring and applying for funding
- Procuration of a suitable support for the startup project from the CEDUS expert network

HHU Ideas Competition
Invitation to the award ceremony on July 16th at 6 p.m.
Find out first-hand who made it to the final round of the Ideas Competition this year and be excited about the presentation of the best submissions for the HHU Ideas Competition 2026.
On 16 July, we will celebrate the winners together and -of course- we will also vote for the audience award. Your vote counts! Take an active part in deciding who will receive this year's audience award.
Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to socialise and network. There will also be plenty of drinks and finger food :)
